This poem is one of my favourite peoms. I found it because my teacher showed us hers and it was called My teacher took my ipod.

<p><b>All My Great Excuses</b><br />

<p>I started on my homework<br />
but my pen ran out of ink.<br />
My hamster ate my homework.<br />
My computer’s on the blink.<br />
<br />
I accidentally dropped it<br />
in the soup my mom was cooking.<br />
My brother flushed it down the toilet<br />
when I wasn’t looking.<br />
<br />
My mother ran my homework<br />
through the washer and the dryer.<br />
An airplane crashed into our house.<br />
My homework caught on fire.<br />
<br />
Tornadoes blew my notes away.<br />
Volcanoes struck our town.<br />
My notes were <span title=”Take hostage: To kidnap and hold for ransom.” style=”text-decoration:underline”>taken hostage</span><br />
by an evil killer clown.<br />
<br />
Some aliens <span title=”Abduct: To kidnap.” style=”text-decoration:underline”>abducted</span> me.<br />
I had a shark attack.<br />
A pirate <span title=”Swipe: To steal.” style=”text-decoration:underline”>swiped</span> my homework<br />
and <span title=”Refuse: To say no.” style=”text-decoration:underline”>refused</span> to give it back.<br />
<br />
I worked on these excuses<br />
so darned long my teacher said,<br />
“I think you’ll find it’s easier<br />
to do the work instead.”</p>

I have to get out without a doubt

I am going to change to something so very strange.

I started to get loud because I could not get through the crowd 

I finally got to those doors, which made me so very proud.

Someone comes up to me and says would you like a drink?

And I said yea with a wink. Wait no I got to go.

I am changing so very fast so I race past everyone like a blast 

Then the full moon rose and everybody knows.

They are all staring and comparing.

I start to growl and begin to howl

In a hour everything was gone 

And it all tasted like prawn.

Crowds were cheering, they were throwing poisonous flowers at me but this was all just a dream. I suddenly felt a cold misreable hand on my shoulder but I just thought that i had enough time. I just needed to grab that peice of metal to hit the hand. I wwas too late. Someone had pulled me into the curtains and had taken me away. I woke up to al tall man dressed in black staring at me. I was so scared. He haqd a gun in his hand and was pointing it at ME! All he said was “we need to talk.”

Phone calls Part 1

 This is the whole story bit by bit and you have to listen. Bzzzzz bzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzz.

“Ohh I missed my phone call” cried Benny.

Doesn’t matter I am sure they will call again. Jane come here quick. I ran over to Benny who was doing somethig with his phone.

“What?” I said.

Look the person who tried to call me has not got a name and all the people I know have got a name. Do not worry i am sure everything will be ok.  Look they are trying to call again. Should i awnswer it or not? No i will, give it to me. He passed it over to me with a worried face. I picked it up and awnsered it.Someone said ” yes i know i will kidnap them wait i think they are on shosh.” The next thing they said was hello would you like some FREE pizza, just give us your adress and we will be right over. I said ” no thanks,” and then hung up. I told Benny the whold thing and all he said to me was ” we gt to tellt he police.”

The Big Hockey Game

I'm in the locker room,
our team is ready to zoom

Equipment is on,
for there is a game to be won

The music is playing,
nervous, my body is shaking

The game, just moments away,
it's the highlight of my day

Butterflies in my belly,
I hope our team is ready

Coaches go over our strategies,
of course, we don't want any penalties

Last second thoughts race through my head,
I'll make it a game that I won't dread

Coach says it's time to play,
I want a win for my red and gray

Now is my time, I got to go,
see you after the game, when I'm covered in snow

This is a story of a lost child who longed for all her troubles to be gone. Ellie had always wanted her troubles to disappear. She was always so miserable because of her parents.

Her parents would always shout at her for talking to herself. Ellie had a strange habit of talking to herself. I guess this was because she was alone. One day she found a tin but when she lifted the lid all of her troubles disappeared.

She would never get shouted at. She would always be able to talk to herself and lived happily with her parents and never felt miserable or bad again.

100 word challenge

“Go to bed honey” mum shouted.

“Ok mum” I shouted back.

It was 9:30 at night and I was still not tired. I jumped onto my bed and looked up at the roof. I was looking at the roof until I heard a horrible high pitched squealing noise. I sneaked outside and saw something pushing through the earth. I told my mum and she told the cops. They said to me that I had found something very important so I got a $200 reward. I got a new bike with my $200. I never got to see what I found but I was on TV so that is ok.

The night I won’t forget!

Today was the night of Halloween and i was so exited. I was going with my old friend Brad. We were both going to get dressed up in the same outfit, spiderman. He wanted me to go and pick him up at exactly 7:00. I could not wait. When i got to his house it was covered in spider webs. His mum was so good at decorating the house on halloween. He came to meet me and we set off to go get lollies. By the time we finished it was 10:00 and we wanted to go home.On the way home  something out of the bosh grabbed me. I screamed for Brad to help me but he was not any were to be seen. I pulled the arm out and it just turned out to be Brad. He was laughing so hard and so was I. I told him he really scared me but he just kept laughing. I don’t think i will ever forget that day.
